THE TALISMAN
's eyes we are continuously
falling edge or stumble, do not know off the ground. What good is beauty
material may not be in the hands
like a stone and carried it around the body like those objects
insignificant that a child carries with it wherever I go, and sink it
in terror or confusion if they are lost.
No beauty for me in the things they can not become talisman
against the forces of helplessness or sentence and no words could do that,
only the physical presence of what was chosen by a dark love,
know which laws to preserve our lives intact
from all dangers and accidents the stalk, although that is
her, the beloved presence, the greatest danger because it can not protect
their loss.
Claudia Masin was born in Resistencia, Chaco, in 1972. Is a psychoanalyst and writer. Lives since 1990 in Buenos Aires. Coordinates writing workshops. Published books of poetry Bizarri (Nusud, 1997), Geology (Nusud, 2001), Sight (Premio Casa de América Madrid, Spain, Visor, 2002), Mystery (Anthology 1997-2007) (Editorial de la Paz, 2007), Coat (Mention National Endowment for the Arts 2004, Under the Moon, 2007) and Fullness (Wire Editor , 2010). Their texts have been published in several anthologies as American Poetry of the XXI Century: Time and transition (Editorial Siglo XXI, Mexico, 1997), Argentine Poetry 1960-1980 (The Dock, 2007), Poems of his have been published book Bizarri plaquette shaped by Pen Press Publishers, New York. His book will be reissued Geology in 2008 by the Editorial Siglo XXI, Mexico, in an anthology dedicated to women poets of Latin America. Created and coordinated, with artists from different disciplines, poetry cycles Look, polygraphs, Fish Talking, The Musik, The Rooster and the moon.
