THE TALISMAN

: The fullness compared to the anguish of the ephemeral, against the fragile, fleeting face. It occurs to me that this is an important point in your book The fullness.
CM: I think much of the book can be summarized in the phrase "I want to be. I would be well able to bear the full / without long for abundance. " Supporting this point, by definition fleeting, when something reaches its maximum intensity ... suffering or pleasure. No association with pleasurable fullness necessarily. The book talks about several issues. The fullness had come originally from the reading of "Forest of the Night" by Djuna Barnes. Each of the poems had the voice of one of the stars, the two lovers, who are Robin and Nora. Until I realized that these two voices were one, which talks about what love is for people: the place of respite and place of the disaster. Before I had thought of as two dissociated voices. : Poetry is to say that there is no full language. We have fragments, approaches, rodeos.
